Lock Bank Farm still practices many traditional farming techniques, such as hedge laying, drystone walling,dyking (coping), haymaking, hand sharpening, hand sheep shearing. During the summer months the cows are walked up and down the road twice a day for milking. Adopt An Animal SchemeFollowing numerous requests you can now adopt an animal at Lock Bank Farm. All the calves are hand reared after a healthy start on their mothers. If you come and stay you could help us feed the calves. |
